Harvest Time and a Furkid Update!

First - the fur-kid update!
The surgeon who amputated Clydas' toes saw him again on Saturday and LIKED the way he's healing. YEAH! Just 2 days before I was told he'd need DAILY bandage changes! So that was great news. Clydas is going in again on Wednesday, assuming I can figure out some transportation hiccups. Not a big deal though. We'll work something out, I'm sure.
  Next, the weekend update!
Saturday was sports, sports, video games, cleaning, and more sports. Many of My Sailor's teams were playing. Since he wasn't going to be able to see them while he's under water, I did my best to let him watch sports and play video games until his eyes fell out. Sure, I was a little grumbly during this process. All I could see were the mountains of chores that wouldn't let me relax until they were done - AND since his deployment is rapidly approaching it's hard to see time not spent together as "wasted", but in the end, we managed to work it out our way - no yell, screaming, slamming doors. Just giving each other time space to be ourselves, meeting in the middle, and moving onward.
Sunday was pumpkin day! We went to the pumpkin patch in Kingston and picked out some pumpkins, and did a few more harvest season activities, so I'll end this blog with a little onetruemedia fun for ya'll.
